EU to support Ukrainian civil society organisations in fighting corruption

The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) has launched a call for proposals to improve the implementation of anti-corruption policy in Ukraine and to contribute to a reduction in corruption. The programme will support all key anti-corruption institutions in the flow of anti-corruption justice in Ukraine, from prevention to investigation, prosecution and recovery in line with international norms and best European practices, as well as the parliamentary and civil overview of the execution of anti-corruption policy.

The goal of this call for proposals is to support national level civil society organisations (CSOs) within the field of anti-corruption, aiming to engage with regional and local level CSOs and civic initiatives fighting corruption to deliver and advocate for state reforms.

The CSOs will support the development and promotion of accountability and transparency mechanisms, asset declaration, access to public information, conflict of interest prevention, monitoring of reform delivery and effectiveness of public services at national, regional and local level.

The CSOs are also expected to encourage dialogue on state reform implementation between civil society, government and other stakeholders.
