EaP Civil Society Forum joins global social accountability network

April 7, 2016

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) has become part of the Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA), the CSF said in a press release this week. Established by the World Bank, the GPSA assists citizens and governments to work together and solve development problems. It also supports civil society organisations in their efforts to connect citizens and authorities to solve fundamental problems in service delivery and to strengthen the performance of public institutions.

The EaP CSF will benefit from access to global experiences, networking, academic and technical knowledge available through the GPSA.

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit, which launched the Eastern Partnership. It aims to support the development of civil society organisations and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
