Youth in Eastern Neighbourhood: 8 Reasons to Study in Europe

September 7, 2018

What does studying in Europe offer you? The European External Action Service (EEAS) recently published a new factsheet outlining eight reasons to study abroad in Europe.

The factsheet argues that, with thousands of universities, research centres and higher education institutions offering world-class study programmes, Europe is the place to be.

Reasons to study in Europe include the possibility to shape your future career, receive a world class education, participate in research programmes, meet new friends, experience new cultures, obtain scholarships, get value for money, and learn new languages, including English.

The factsheet contains useful links about research jobs, funding, and opportunities in Europe, scholarships and financial support options available and other useful information.

While there are 24 official languages in the EU, most countries across Europe offer study programmes in English. It is also possible to find programmes taught in other leading global business languages such as Spanish, French, German, Russian, Italian, Portuguese and Arabic.

Across Europe, tuition fees and living costs compare very well to other study destinations… in fact, in some European countries offer study programmes free of charge! There are lots of scholarships and financial support options available too. Find out more here.
