Team Leader of the EaPTC Support Programme contributed to Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy

On July 13, 2016, EaPTC Support Programme Team Leader Mr. Alexei Sekarev took part in the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy 2016 “Regional Policy and Regional Development. Euro-Atlantic Support to Eastern Partnership countries”.

The event was organised by the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) and brought together policy analysts, experts, advisers, civil servants, private sector/NGO professionals and journalists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Mr. Sekarev delivered a presentation where he provided detailed information on the EU Strategy to Support Territorial Cooperation of the Eastern Partnership countries, EaPTC objectives and operational priorities, target groups and main actors involved, and also ongoing activities and current status of the Programme implementation. He also highlighted the interim results of the Territorial Cooperation Programmes, current achievements, lessons learnt and challenges ahead.

WEASA is aimed at presenting political, social and economic foundations of modern democracies in the European Union and the transatlantic community and further promote the values of freedom, pluralism and peace.
