September 4, 2019

Between 16 and 30 August, young people from the EU and its six Eastern partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) attended the European School Summer Camp 2019 in Georgia.

The Summer Camp brought together around 100 young people aged between 14 and 17. They participated in various educational and interactive activities aimed at highlighting European civil values and fostering cooperation, multicultural understanding and tolerance among young people.

The camp served as a preparatory phase for potential students of the Eastern Partnership European School, which on 16 September will open its doors for the second time in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Other interested young people also took part in the camp.

This is the third edition of this EU-supported camp. The previous two camps, with the same programme, were in organised in 2017 and 2018, hosting 180 international students in Georgia.
