Georgian Arts and Culture Centre joins network of recognised values in sphere of intangible cultural heritage

September 3, 2019

Thanks to EU support, the Georgian Arts and Culture Center, together with three other organisations from Latvia, Estonia and North Macedonia, has joined UNESCO’s network of recognised values in the sphere of intangible cultural heritage. The organisations received support from the EU’s largest programme for education, training, youth and sport, Erasmus+.

The network serves as a platform for the member countries to share their knowledge and experience in this field.

According to a post shared on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation to Georgia, the country’s representatives have already visited Latvia and North Macedonia, and the other participant countries will soon visit Georgia to learn more about its cultural heritage.
