EU-supported event focuses on creative design to boost small businesses in Ukraine

December 5, 2017

More than 100 people recently gathered for the Creative Economy Days in the Ukrainian city of Lviv to discuss issues based around the theme ‘Design for Competitiveness’.

The event focused on how Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can best work with creative agencies and design to boost their products and services. It provided an opportunity for dialogue between the country’s businesses and industrial designers.

The Creative Economy Days were held at the city’s international airport, organised by the Lviv Business Support Centre with the support of EU4Business and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Lviv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building.
