EU and UN to introduce mobile Administrative Service Centres in Luhansk oblast of Ukraine

December 23, 2019

Two brand new mobile Administrative Service Centres (ASCs) will travel the streets of the towns of Bilovodsk and Kreminna in Luhansk oblast of eastern Ukraine, providing locals with much needed administrative services quickly and efficiently.

The official transfer of new ASCs was organised under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme (UN RPP) with financial support from the EU.

The key aim is to bring services to people whose location is far from the stationary centres and to those living close to and along the ‘contact line’ which separates Ukrainian forces and Russian-backed separatist rebels in the east of the country.

The vehicles have two working spaces for administrators, both equipped with computers and modern software, and two mobile cases; one for providing administrative services and another for carrying out energy audits. They also provide remote working spaces for specialists from the pension fund, lawyers, social security and other services.

The mobile ASCs are also equipped with security cameras, GPS navigation, a heating system, ventilation, air conditioning and portable access ramps.
