Belarus: EU project helps identify the most bike-friendly company in Minsk

August 3, 2018

Between 1 and 31 August, companies working in the Belarusian capital of Minsk will be evaluated to identify which companies are the most bike-friendly. The competition, which is being run as part of the EU-funded Urban Cycling Movement in Belarus project, aims to encourage companies whose staff and managers use this eco-friendly form of transport.

The competition is being organised by Minsk Cycling Society. It will select winners under several categories: ‘largest cycling organisation’, ‘most bike-friendly organisation’, ‘cycling boss’, ‘most stylish cycling look’, ‘cycling in any weather’ and ‘my bike is my best friend’.

In order to enter, participants are invited to post photos matching any of the categories under different hashtags. More details on contest conditions can be found here.

The winners and runners-up in all categories will receive their awards on the Car-Free Day city festival on 22 September.
