Information Session in Baku: advancing Azerbaijan – Georgia Territorial Cooperation

On November 6, 2015 an Information Session under Azerbaijan – Georgia Territorial Cooperation Programme Call for Proposals is organized by the EaPTC Support Programme in Baku to inform Azerbaijani state authorities about the specifics, sequence of actions, eligibility criteria and evaluation process.
The Call for Proposals aimed at strengthening territorial cooperation between the border regions of Azerbaijan and Georgia was officially launched by the EU on September 18, 2015. The overall indicative amount under this Call for Proposals is €1.35 million. Projects can be implemented by communities, state institutions and civil society organisations from the eligible regions. The deadline for submission of project proposals is December 17, 2015.
The cooperation priority is given to joint cross-border projects aimed at promoting synergies in agriculture and related economic sectors; finding joint solutions for common environmental problems and enhancing emergency preparedness; building up tourism potential; enhancing social inclusion in the areas of culture, education and sports and developing links between youth.
