Cross-border partners from Moldova and Ukraine strengthened their project implementation capacities

February 5, 2018

On January 31 – February 1, 2018, Chisinau (Moldova) hosted a networking workshop for grant beneficiaries of the Moldova – Ukraine Territorial Cooperation Programme. It was organised by the EaPTC Support Programme to enhance capacities of the grantees in the course of implementing their projects.

The training included a series of plenary sessions, round tables, showcasing presentations and exhibitions mostly focused on the methodology of successful grant project implementation. Representatives of leading beneficiary partner organisations, mostly project coordinators and financial officers, as well as partner organisations involved in the projects implementation took part in the event.

The trainees got an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and understanding of specific grant contract requirements, identify synergies and ways to cooperate during the implementation phase and discuss the main challenges and benefits of the grant projects on both sides of the border.

As of now, 15 cross-border projects involving Moldovan and Ukrainian partners started their activities. The EaPTC Support Team will continue such informal meetings in order to provide the beneficiaries with an open platform for knowledge sharing, efficient troubleshooting, continuous learning and ensuring mutual feedback.
