Summary of the action

Objectives of the action

Overall objective of the project is to contribute to the preparedness to the emergency situations in the cross-border area of Bukovyna and Moldova.

Specific objectives:

  • To achieve a high level of preparedness of hospitals in the target area to the emergency situations;
  • To implement modern medicine technologies allowing to ensure a rapid response to the emergency situations in case of technogenic and natural hazards and disasters.
Main activities
  • Improving material and technical preparedness of medical structures to the emergency situations by establishing a centre for reception and diagnostics of the people affected by emergency situations in Chernivtsi, purchasing the diagnostic, reanimation and surgical equipment;
  • Improving informational preparedness of medical structures to the emergency situations by establishing telemedicine centres, web-portal and developing database;
  • Increasing professional preparedness of medical structures and population to the emergency situations through a number of trainings and mobile application development.
Target groups
  • Staff of the RMI “Emergency Hospital”, Novoselytsya Central District Hospital, Public Medical-Sanitary Institution District Hospital Ungheni
  • volunteers from Novoselitsa and Ungheni districts;
  • residents of communities with a high degree of risk to suffer from an emergency
