Summary of the action

Objectives of the action

Overall objective of the project is to develop sports infrastructure according to the European standards regarding population’s accessibility to facilities as to practice sports and providing possibilities to carry out national/international tournaments.

Specific objectives:
  • To improve cooperation between Ungheni and Novoselytsya City Halls and other governmental institutes, as well as with non-governmental stakeholders in promoting sport activities and healthy lifestyle;
  • To strengthen sports activities, interest and motivation by promoting and encouraging of cross-border cooperation between sports teams in frame of cross-border tournaments;
  • To encourage the continuous practice of physical and sporting activities for a large number of people from Ungheni and Novoselytsya cities.
Main activities
  • Coordinating the project;
  • Renovating Stadiums;
  • Promoting sports activities;
  • Organising sports tournaments;
  • Ensuring efficient communication and dissemination.
  • Mainstreaming with authorities;

  • Establishing Local Sports Council

  • Creating volunteers teams
